It’s the end of the month, or at least it was we’re a couple of days late, and that time again; the long waited Nordic Music Central Spotify Playlist, for February.
This month the playlist features the classy Danish artist Hannah Schneider; Finland’s Rules, which counts one of the four ‘pints’ of Pintandwefall in their number; and a duo featuring the Danish songstress Ida Wenøe with Scotland’s Samantha Whates.
Sweden’s Skott steals a march on Vlad the Mad as she attempts to ‘Rule the World’, while to Denmark’s Mercedess it’s all too ‘Obvious’. From Sweden, The Ghost of Helags make a welcome return with ‘Scandinavian Summer (Helax remix)’ while from the same country Miynt thinks she’s ‘Of the Sun.’
Back to Denmark for Dead Star Talk as they revitalise Britpop with ‘Too Many Too Much’ while Sweden’s Fred Atlast parts company from Little Dragon, well at least for ‘One Day’.
Finally, we visit Iceland to sample a track from the recent debut album from alt-rock star Einar Vilberg.
Remember, you can read the reviews of all these songs and/or the albums they came from on the Nordic Music Central website.
Enjoy!
